The three partnering organizations are committed to applied research which has the potential to lead to enhancing services and supports for people living with ASD. The Partnership shares the Bureau of Autism Service’s desire for research efforts which lead to practical and measurable results. It is important that this information be “useable” by individuals, families, and service providers. Penn State Hershey, Vista and Philhaven have a strong commitment to clinical research which proposes innovative treatment interventions and assesses their efficacy.
The Partnership is committed to attaching outcome measures to all clinical, educational, and training initiatives, in addition to more traditional research activities so that its activities can contribute to the evidence base in a manner that is most useful for families and professionals.
